Nice ride, affordable price

Pros: Smooth, responsive engine and transmission. Comfy seats, handy jump seat. Plenty of storage space.

Cons: Wheels set too far in under the wheel wells. Looks much better with wheel spacers.

The Montero Limited is the best kept secret in the large SUV market. The looks, ride, interior and engine responsiveness are all above average - the fuel economy isn't bad either (for such a large vehicle). I really like the interior and the large moonroof. This is my wife's car, we just sold her Infiniti QX4 (which we also loved), but the Limited is the same or better in all areas. The jump seat (too small to be called a third seat) comes in handy for extra seating for shorter adults and kids.

I put 1 1/4 inch wheels spacers to make the stance a little more aggressive, looks great!
