Pros: left/right hand, works on any surface, very comfortable
Cons: With Gaming isn't fast enough
The Bottom Line: The Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical Mouse is the perfect mouse if you don't do much gaming. You can use on any surface, just point and click!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: It must have been about a year ago that I was really getting into Yahoo! Gaming and playing other games on the computer. We had an older, standard mouse with the ball on the bottom and it would get dirty often from all the dust and pet hair. I was...

Review: Recently I was given a job of picking a mouse to replace the mouse devices used so far in our company. We used all sorts of mouse devices but all had in common a ball on the bottom which required constant cleaning.

Pros: Great, inexpensive, general purpose mouse; has a USB plug with a PS/2 adapter.
Cons: Probably not the best mouse for gaming; Microsoft driver conflicts with Synpatics touchpad.
The Bottom Line: Great, inexpensive, general purpose mouse, plugs into your USB or PS/2 port. Reliable and ergonomically well designed. Brand name component.

Review: I own a Dell laptop with a Synpatics touchpad and trackpoint device. I was tired of the mouse pointer bouncing around all over the place whenever I typed -- this was either because of the touchpad or the trackpoint device being too sensitive to...

Pros: Optical, comfortable, left or right handed use, USB or PS/2, sturdy quality, lightweight
Cons: Scroll wheel too loose, may take some getting used to, some may want more buttons
The Bottom Line: An awesome cheap optical mouse that should meet most peoples needs, even gamers.

Review: Before purchasing this mouse I had a Microsoft Intellimouse (right hand only, green scroll wheel, mechanical ball mouse) and I needed something which was far more accurate than this mouse I had been using for 4 years.

Pros: Comfortable design; just enough buttons; simple wheel.
Cons: None?
The Bottom Line: Forget what some companies call the mouse evolution. The Wheel Mouse Optical IS the de-facto standard in great mice. Save the money for something better.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Why do some people demand such high quality mice in an age where the mouse has almost hit a design ceiling? Now with the introduction of the first Laser mouse by Logitech many people are questioning how great their LED based optical mice are. I'm...

Pros: Optically Driven, Price, Software
Cons: Wheel, Wheel button, shape
The Bottom Line: If you can live with that loose feel wheel, it causes no hand discomfort, its a BUY, Otherwise look for something else.

Review: I purchased a Microsoft Wheel mouse at Office Depot
for 13.95. My needs were to have a scroll wheel to avoid the dreaded side bar. I thought for sure that MS would be a quality product. I have used them in the past, but those... |

Review: This was the first optical mouse I had ever purchased some 4 odd years ago. I bought it for $50 when optical mouses just hit the market so that's why the price tag was so high.
I still use this mouse every day with my desktop and it works... |
