Much like one the other reviewers, our first criteria was quietness, secondly was the hidden control panel. Out of the box, the installation was easy, took about 30 minutes. The second and third installs were a little more time consuming. I had to remove it once for a water connection problem (my problem). The third time was to adjust height and levelness, I had some problems here. The unit was being installed into an island that is slightly taller than normal counters, so I had to extend the leveling feet an extra two + inches. At this height I noticed that the feet tended to flex/bend toward the center of the unit. I was unable to readjust them. When I move this to our new kitchen, I will find an alternate method to raise, level and isolate the unit. I'm not sure it was necessary, but I added some sound suppression material around, above and below the unit (attached to inner cabinet walls) to further reduce the noise, now I have to put my ear to door to verify that it's running.

Loading is a challenge, I’ve had to move items around and bend a few guides that make sure the plates sit properly and there is this strangely placed frame bar in the upper rack that prevents items from sitting within the guides.. I’m about ready to remove it with a hacksaw.

These comments are not specific to this model, simply an observation “after the fact”. The tall tub feature is great if you have lots of dishes to wash, however there are three drawbacks.

1. Tall Tub also implies a taller door, thus it extends further into the isle way. Check to make sure you have the clearance.

2. Tall Tub means that the door is hinged lower on the frame, when the door is open it is closer to the floor than “normal”. In this case, when fully opened the upside (or inside) of the door is at ankle height. It’s a long way to bend down to load and unload the lower rack.

3. We find ourselves running out of plates and silverware before the dishwasher if full.
