Review: We were very suprised at the noise level, it is very quiet for the motor size, it cleans very well with only scraping off the large stuff. I have had a model 7100 for several years with no problems at all. I would recomond Maytag to anyone.

Maytag disappoints again

Review: The computer needed to be replaced after 3 months. 2 years down the road it appears that the top washing sprayer is broken. Unacceptable.

It's also kind of loud, and it never cleaned things incredibly well.

Worth its weight in gold

The Bottom Line: For hot water, clean dishes, quiet operation, easy touch-pad controls, multiple cycles and dishes that are dry as a bone at the finish, this dishwasher is the one.

Not as great as I was led to believe

The Bottom Line: Overrated, but still a good machine. Not as quiet as I expected for the money. A cheaper model will probably do just as well. But I would still recommend it.
Review: I felt compelled to write this review because the Maytag MDB7100 is among the highest rated dishwashers on internet and I did not agree with a couple of specific praises.

I bought ours in November 2001 for $429 including tax from Lowes...
