Fun game but I think aimed more for kids.

Date of Review:  Jan 21, 2009
Review: With this game you will get great exercise and its fun at times but it didn't keep my attention very long.  I have only played it twice in the 6 months I've had it.  I like that you have to use your head to pick the best character with the right...

The Bottom Line: Buy it - it's fun
Review: ~~**~~ Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games ~~**
Bicep strain - not normally a condition I'd encourage, but for the sake of entertainment, it's a necessary bi-product. Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games (or M&S as I shall refer to it) has...

easy

Date of Review:  Aug 2, 2008
Review: I felt this game was a bit easy. When buying the game, I though the wifi meant I could play the games with other online user. You can't, it just post top score from everyone that sumits them.

Mario & Sonic At The Olympics

Date of Review:  Sep 19, 2008
The Bottom Line: This is a great game, with realistic looking Olympic events.  Such a healthy way for kids to enjoy video games.
Review: Last year I attended a vision therapy class, and the Dr. giving the class convinced me that hand held video games are not the best for children's vision and eye health.

Since that time, I have been limiting the amount of time that my eight...

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games - Nintendo Wii

Date of Review:  Jan 29, 2009
The Bottom Line: I found most of the games to be boring and not much fun. Don't waste your money on this lame collection.
Review: There are way too many games for the Nintendo Wii that are just a collection of lame mini-games, and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games is one of them. Out of all the different Olympic events you can play in this game, many of them play just the...

Great Multiplayer Game

Date of Review:  Dec 1, 2007
The Bottom Line: Great sports game for the whole family and parties with active movements.
Review: This quickly became one of my favorite Nintendo Wii games. There are a lot of different summer Olympic sports to try and all use the Wii remote and/or nunchuck to make you feel kind of like you are really doing the sports. I love how every event can...

Well... Its not terrible

Date of Review:  Dec 28, 2007
The Bottom Line: Buy it if you have a young kid who is a Mario or Sonic fan, rent it if you think it just looks fun.
Review: Nothing about this game stood out to me as something that was worth the fifty dollars paid for it. It definitely did entertain me, but has very little long lasting appeal to it, and just wasn't special in any way. Maybe its worth buying a used copy,...

Olympics is not Wii Sports, but interesting

Date of Review:  Dec 23, 2007
The Bottom Line: 4-player. A few decent events. First time play frustrating on some events. Might rate higher if just for kids and not for whole family.
Review: I'm reviewing this game after several weekend's worth of game play, having rented it. We don't have an instruction manual. We're a two adult, two kid household.

Olympics can be played by 1 to 4 players. Many of the events use the nunchuck...

Mario & Sonic = Cool Game

Date of Review:  Jan 8, 2008
The Bottom Line: I recommend this game for kids or adults, because its a challenge and a good workout!
Review: After playing many games for the Wii and learning the ins and outs of the Wii controllers...this game pushes the limits of what these controllers can do.

Every aspect of the AD accelerometers are put to use in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic...

A family "must have"

Date of Review:  Jan 14, 2008
The Bottom Line: Lots of variety, very challenging, up to 4 people can "compete" in most of the events using 1 remote. Fun for all ages.
Review: There are more than 20 different events to compete in, and most events are turn-based (up to 4 people can play, using one remote). The player you choose to be also greatly effects the play--some are more skilled, some have greater power, etc., but...
