Pros: Great price, wonderful interface, great search interface, and nice detour capabilities
Cons: Lack of text to speech, tight car attachment, battery life too short for pedestrian use.
The Bottom Line: You want a GPS and on a tight budget? Look for a Maestro 3100 on sale! You'll love it.

Pros: Easy to use; simple to set up
Cons: CAN NOT UPDATE MAPS. OBSOLETE OUT OF THE BOX
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: This unit works well, is simple to use, even without instructions. Unfortunately, it's virtually useless right out of the box, in an area that is continually adding new roads. I just got my 3100 on 2/14/08, and the maps were about 1 1/2 years out of...

Review: I bought the 3100 on sale!!! Before I bought this unit, I had only used a hand held GPS with no Map. I had to enter coordinates and name the Waypoints. It worked great for walking etc, but now I have a GPS with moving map! Big leap for me!!!
