Awesome pictures and zoom. Menu lack a lot of information.

Great pictures. I don't even have to use flash for indoor night pictures as I can adjust the brightness to suit them. I can use this feature to make most pictures in dreary weather conditions look bright and great! Pictures are very sharp. Zoom is great. I was able to take very clear pictures several houses away with the 48 X zoom (12X optical and 4X digital) and no tripod! Amazing power in such a light and little thing!

Body is plastic and has a cheap feeling to it, but I guess that's how they keep it light weight.

Menu lacks a lot of directions and explanations on how to operate the camera, especially for inexperienced user. Had to figure a lot of things out on my own and still don't know what some things are. Panasonic should hire someone professional to write the menu to match up with this wonderful camera!
