Should you buy this?

If you are reading here it's probably because you're wondering if this movie is worth buying or renting. You have come to the right place!

First, let me say that I am a HUGE Little Mermaid fan. You may be thinking that my opinion will be bias because of this but that is not the case. Let me explain...

Being a huge fan of the fist movie, I was not too happy with the idea of Disney making a part two. My first thoughts were that a second movie would take away from the first movie. Plus, not all part II's are good. So let me say that I did buy the movie because I am a mermaid fan but I did watch the movie objectively.

Here is my opinion on the movie.. (I bought a DVD version of this movie... the DVD version includes trivia games and extra cartoon footage.)My first impression of the movie was a good one. I liked the very first scenes a lot. The drawing and color of the scenes looked great.. the music was good too. I noticed many similarities between the first mermaid movie and this part II. I see this as a good thing though... I think this helped keep the movie together and it helped it move along.

I don't like to give details about a movie to someone who hasn't seen it yet. It will only take away from your experience. But.. trust me when I say you will enjoy this movie. I did! If you loved the first movie.. then you will embrace this one as well. I even think they gave hints on there being a part three.. see it yourself and tell me what you think.
