Excellent dryer with a very large capacity

What is it?
The main reason of buying the the LG 7.3 Cu Ft Electric Dryer was to match our LG WM2233H Front Load Stacked Washer, but I must admit that I have been very impressed with it so far. Some features include 9 drying cycles (towels, cottons, hand wash, etc.), 5 drying levels (very dry, normal, damp dry, etc.). You can also set it to a timed cycle. The dryer's key feature is the Sensor Dry system that can sense the moisture in the dryer and automatically adjusts the cycle for you. The dryer also has an optional matching pedestal that you can purchase separately.

My thoughts...
My previous dryer was about 10 years old and rattled while drying, so I was amazed at how the LG dryer runs quietly with almost no sound heard in the next room (laundry door closed of course). The menu is very easy to use, and my clothes are nice and dry (not scorched like my old dryer). Sheets are never tangled up and I have even been able to dry big blankets in this dryer. The lint filter is located on the bottom lip of the opening, it comes right off and is easy to clean.

What I like most is the Sensor Dry system. I usually just throw the clothes in the dryer, select Normal cycle and press start. In the default medium-high setting, clothes usually dry in about 30-40 minutes, towels and jeans at most 50 minutes. There is a display that tells you the remaining time left, and at the end of the cycle, a pleasant tune plays to let you know that your load is done. Another important feature for me is the child locking mechanism. You press one of the buttons for three seconds and it locks all the buttons. All the cool lights that this dryer has is an instant attraction for my toddler, so the locking feature is almost a necessity for me.

The pedestal looks really nice, but at $150 it is out of my price range. At 5'2", it's not too hard on my back to load clothes into the dryer without the pedestal.
