~~ GRINDING DOWN ON THE KRUPS GX4100 ELECTRIC BLADES GRINDER ~~

I wasn't a coffee drinker until I moved down to Florida, around the bend and in the middle of a Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts. With the average cup being at least $2, and me needing all the caffeine I can fathom, foam and find, I decided to buy a new coffee maker. I tried many different blends and mochas, but the ones I fell in love with were the coffee beans that come whole.

Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am not one to work for my food. I give easily on pistachio nuts, lobster and Alaskan crab legs. So to fight for coffee beans? To crush for my fix? Too much trouble! That is, until I found a neat little contraption called the KRUPS GX4100 Electric Blades Grinder. This has taken hours off me beating the beans with a rock, and tastes better than any Folgers grit out there!

This weighs under two pounds, yet can grinds several lbs of beans for rich, delicious taste! You will have to play around to see how fine you want the formula to be before you brew. At 160 watts with brushed stainless steel blades, one hit of the button can get you a pot of coffee in just seconds.

Now, you can only grind 3 ounces at a time, so you may want to grind and store, so you are not constantly grinding each time you want a cup. The fresh ground beans tend to be richer than the average brew, so you don't need as much.

You can be like me and also grind seeds to be made into an ingredient, or you can make your own herbs and spices as well. I have also experimented by putting in various kinds of beans, to make my own blended flavors. I love the Hawaiian flavors, and the dark blends, so I have had a lot of fun tasting and testing! 

 It is very easy to clean, all you have to do is wipe it down, much like a blender. It is about 4" wide, 7" tall and 3" deep. It has a safety lock for little curious fingers! Overall, if you drink a lot of exotic coffee and you want the feel of real beans over processed, you will love this handy little tool. Beware that beans, of course, are more expensive, so this will cut your costs by making the most of your cool beans!
