Pros: Good sound isolation- but this can be dangerous in some situations.
Cons: Extremely difficult to position correctly, uncomfortable, won't stay in place, sound is too bass-heavy, muffled.
The Bottom Line: Make sure you're comfortable wearing foam earplugs for hours on end before purchasing. For extreme bass lovers only (with the mod). Tinny and weak without the mod.

Review: I have small ears set close to my head, and I ve had a devil of a time finding the right earphones to wear with my MP3 player. You can t beat an earbud s ability to deliver soundwaves directly to your eardrum, but most earbud speakers are...

Pros: Small, Loud, Great Bass, Short Cord
Cons: Annoying Mute Button, Overly Bright Treble
The Bottom Line: If you like earbuds, these are a great pair. I told at least half a dozen of my friends and co-workers about these.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: My introduction to The Plug came by way of a web page about The Boosteroo, an in-line headphone amplifier. The author of the web page amended the page to say that he switched over to The Plug and did not need the amplifier anymore.

Cons: Sound different for everybody - more so than other types of headphones.
The Bottom Line: Comfortable, decent sounding, lightweight, isolating ear buds for $20 with a lifetime replacement warranty.Make sure you are getting the newest model.

Review: Koss's original "Plug" headphones had many shortcomings listed in other reviews. If as if Koss read all these negative reviews and corrected all of them! Now there's service!

Review: I bought my first Koss Plug two years ago. It made my cheap little RCA Lyra Sound awesome - extra bass - I can play it on 'Flat' and still get good Bass. On 'Rock' and 'Jazz' EQ, it kicks butt.
I bought a second pair for me and one for my kid... |

Pros: Great sound, portable.
Cons: Hard to get into ears, plugs wear out.
The Bottom Line: If you are looking for a pair of headphones to use on a train, these would be a good choice, but these don't do well with exercise.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: While riding the train to my summer job every morning, and for working out, I liked to listen to music. I needed new headphones, and when I saw these headphones, I decided to give them a try. These headphones have pretty good sound, but there are a...

Pros: Bass loudness
Cons: Sound quality, Mute button
The Bottom Line: Koss The Plug delivers the most boom - not bang - for the buck. Period. Run - don't walk - away from this product!

Review: A salesperson at Best Buy persuaded me to try Koss The Plugs. At first I was moderately satisfied, but the novelty quickly wore off. The Sony MDR-EX70LP is a much better choice. Much better.
The Plug produces lots of bass. But the quality... |

Pros: Very good sound, variety of plug configurations, noise limiting, comfortable, extremely affordable
Cons: plugs separate from drivers too easily, not sure how durable the foam is
The Bottom Line: Despite some vehemently negative reviews I've seen, I consider these to be the absolute best combination of features and price in this genre of earbuds
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I use mine in the gym exclusively, and have no problems either keeping them in, or with discomfort- I forget they are there and wonder why I can't hear what anyone is saying in between tunes.
The sound is as good as any set I have ever used,... |

Pros: Attractive, decent sound quality
Cons: Tangle easily, won't stay in ears
The Bottom Line: Unless you don't plan on moving much or have ears that will keep these headphones in, I wouldn't use these earbud headphones.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I got these Koss earbud headphones for Christmas last year. I had been asked for them due to the fact that I often sit on regular headphones, smooshing them to beyond repair, and so I prefer earbuds or wireless headphones. My husband picked...

Pros: Portable? Yes Decent sound? Yes
Cons: Comfort = 0 Comfort = 0 Comfort = 0
The Bottom Line: If you require a small portable headphone then by all means try the Koss plug. But not before looking (and trying) at some alternatives.
