Pros: Prints fine for documents has good color for photograps and includes many features.
Cons: Noisy, large size, no catch tray for legal size paper
The Bottom Line: As an all in one printer this is a easy printer to use. The software was easy to install and use, the machine is reasonalby priced.

Review: This summer I decided I needed an All-in-One Printer and did some research and since I have a Kodak Camera picked the new 5500 AIO Printer on Amazon.com. They showed two places where this model could be ordered and since I am an Amazon Premium...

Review: Almost two years ago, I let my son take my canon mp130 to college with him. It is a great AIO with dirt cheap ink cost if generics used. I had gotten used to the freedom of printing without real concern for cost as $25 worth of generic ink lasted...

Pros: None I can think of.
Cons: Cheap ink but run out fast. Low quality printing. Need to clean cartridges too often.
The Bottom Line: For AIO printers Kodak has a long way to go. Wait until the second or third generation before taking it into consideration.

Review: I got this printer about a year ago mostly because of the claimed low ink cost . Even though it come from a well reputed brand as Kodak, I didn't expect excellence because I knew they were new in this kind of printers. My idea was to get this...

Pros: Cheap.
Cons: Kodak all in one printers are plagued with a faulty print head design.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: At first I thought this printer was great. Then, I was plagued with Print head woes. I would average about 15 prints before the print head would need replacement. Serious design flaw that Kodak is unwilling to admit.

Pros: Great photo prints, inexpensive ink, easy to set up.
Cons: slow printing, very technical, read instructions well
The Bottom Line: Conveniance, & Affordability! Kodak! Inexpensive ink, copy scan, photo quality! A company who's been in the business for over 100 years, and stay's ontop of the changing enviroment!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Photo Quality is Great!!
Set up simple, but more than one tray for type of paper use. Read directions well when setting up and using your multi paper tray. The design of paper and photo paper together is well thought out. Makes less changing of... |
