KitchenAid Architect® KUDT03FT 24 in. Built-in Dishwasher

Like all new relationships everything started out good......
The machine looks nice and worked well for about 6 months, then everything went down hill from there. I've had the unit for just a couple of years and had to have it repaired 6 times. The parts have started to fall off the inside, the silverware caddy is falling apart so the silverware now falls into the bottom the the machine and jams up the unit. The water jets are falling off the back of the unit. I have to take apart the strainer and food grinder about every 5 months to clear it. The final straw is I now have to replace the heater element and pump. The positioning of the silverware caddy on the side means you have to pull out the bottom rack every time you want to toss anything in it. Does a horrid job on glasses.STAY AWAY from Kitchen Aid products, they had a great reputation years back, but now build junk, and although their customer service reps are polite, the company policies are useless.
