My KitchenAid Dishwasher Really Cleans!

My new KitchenAid Architect Series Dishwasher is by far the best-cleaning, most efficient, and easy to load dishwasher I have ever had. Combined with a sleek state of the art design, I feel that this product really adds a great design look to my new kitchen.

APPEARANCE

The stainless steel finish, which matches my other KitchenAid appliances really helps to give my kitchen a timeless and classic look.

The integrated control panel is only visible when the dishwasher is open, since it sits on top of the door, rather than on the front part. This gives it a clean and modern look. In the older model I had before, the control panel often got stained or streaked, but now it is hidden from view when the door is closed.

The curved, large beautifully designed handle matches the other handles from my other appliances from the Architect Series line, giving my entire kitchen a finished, polished look.

FEATURES

The all- stainless interior eliminates staining inside
of the unit and is very durable.

A really nice feature is the built-in rinse- aid dispenser. This is the first model I have had that shows you the exact level of rinse- aid still in the dispenser, so I don't forget to refill it as I did in my old dishwasher.

Most important of all, the racks are designed to accommodate all shapes and sizes of dishes and glasses, including pots and pans. Many of these racks are very flexible and can often be readjusted to accommodate any possible configuration of a load.

The five -level wash system provides excellent cleaning results. There are four levels of filtration and a soil collector system that continuously filters the wash water,through an ultra fine filter, preventing the food particles from getting redeposited on the clean dishes.

Two water jets, located under the spray arm, remove the food from the ultra-fine filter. There is also a coarse strainer to prevent bones, pits or other large objects from entering the pump system. In my old dishwasher, I had to pay for an expensive service call for a piece of bone getting caught and lodging in the pump. This feature eliminates this from happening. I have never had any trace of food in the dishwasher after a large or extra dirty load as I have had to in former dishwashers.

This model is equipped with an optical sensor wash that detects water temperature and detergent and soil amounts. Based on this sensor, it can adjust the wash cycles. Loads that are only lightly soiled will used less energy and water, while heavily soiled loads will get a longer wash time, with more water at an increased temperature. It even automatically adjusts the sensor about once a year to allow for variations in water quality.

One of my favorite features is the WHISPER QUIET sound insulation system. The way my house is configured, the dishwasher backs on to a bar/half wall that is right next to my family room, where we watch television most evenings.
This feature allows us to spend the evening in our family room without even hearing the dishwasher.

SETTINGS

This dishwasher has ten different settings providing the customized type of wash cycle required for almost any circumstance.

They are:

rinse only: a great energy-saving feature since there
are just the two of us
pro-scrub :great for dirty pots and pans(I still soak them
first if they are really baked on.)

just want my dishes to get a good second rinse

ENERGY EFFICIENCY

This unit is very energy efficient and exceeds both EPA and industry standards for energy efficiency.

Overall, I really love my new KitchenAid stainless steel Architect series dishwasher and would recommend it highly.
