Pros: Nothing good to say, both mixers I received were non-functioning
Cons: Refurbished mixers junk, company's return policies misleading, "Customer Satisfaction" department ironically named.
The Bottom Line: Be very careful before buying a refurbished Kitchen Aid Mixer, and triple-check the warranty and return policies. If you get a lemon, you may have no recourse.

Review: I ordered a refurbished Kitchen Aid Professional 600 stand mixer from Kitchen Aid's on-line Factory Store, and it was a terrible experience. The first mixer they sent was not refurbished at all -- it broke completely within 5 minutes of use, just...

Pros: Attractive, lots of attachments. The pasta attachments made pasta making a breeze.
Cons: It's not durable.

Review: I wish I could give this mixer more cudos, but I can't.
Using 7 cups of whole wheat flour in a recipe, the mixer struggled a bit. Using it 2-3 times a week, pretty much exclusively for making bread, it died on me. Given that the mixer is... |

Pros: I think it's supposed to be a nice mixer
Cons: It's loud, works too hard, attachments are clumsy...
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend the pro. It has A LOT of work to be done in order to be USED as a pro and not just CALLED a pro.

Review: I love my old Kitchen Aid. It was great. It was supposedly the one for 'home use' and it was made YEARS ago... so I thought I was doing the right thing by upgrading. I was wrong. Maybe I got a lemon, but those kinds of things need to be addressed in...

Pros: It is big, beautiful and powerful. You will find excuses to make more goodies.
Cons: Price.
The Bottom Line: Wonderful equipment you will use weekly in your kitchen! It'll make everyone jealous and you will instantly become a gourmet chef-or at least look like one!

Review: I have wanted a KitchenAid mixer for quite awhile. I do a lot of baking and cooking and for years I have stuck to using stick hand blenders (which do work great), but I wanted some sort of mixer that could sit there without me having to hold the...

Cons: cleaning the product after using it

Review: I bought this product to make baking easier. My hand hurts from all the stirring it takes with a spoon to make the texture smooth without chunks of powder. I love that is stylish and looks great on my counter. I look forward to using my KitchenAid...

Pros: Very versatile & absolutely wonderful for breads & cookies
Cons: Making pies & cakes with the whisk attachment is a little trickier
The Bottom Line: I'd definitely recommend this for anyone who does a lot of their own baking, but I don't know that I'd recommend it to start a baking business.

Review: THE OBSESSION
Being a total Food Network junkie, I began to notice that the KA is also what many of the chefs (Emeril, Rachel Ray, Ina Gartner etc) use in their "network" kitchens. Whether this is because its a good machine or because its a... |

Pros: Full range of attachments. Easy to use and clean. Available in many colours.
Cons: Too many plastic attachments. Plastic transmission cover (stressed) will crack under a hard load. Loud.
The Bottom Line: A little over-hyped. Overrated capacity. Not a bargain. They are charging the most they can for it. I recommend it but with caveats.

Review: This machine came highly recommended and the fact that is a popular site on Food Network cooking shows ultimately swayed the decision to buy it. We found out very quickly that the capacity of the unit is overrated. The motor stalled quite frequently...

Cons: NONE!
The Bottom Line: Perfect for beginners or advanced bakers. Power to accomodate just about any task needed. PowerKnead dough hook is awesome! Now I can get rid of my breadmaker, yeah!
