Pros: Looks good, great customer service from Kitchen Aid.
Cons: Top heating elements heat WAY hotter than bottom heating elements; temperature settings WAY off.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: We bought this toaster oven a few months ago; it seemed to cook the food faster than my 10+ year old Black & Decker oven (which had finally died being so old). Anyway, we thought the Kitchen Aid cooked faster because our other one was so old. Well...

Pros: Beautiful appearance, versatile, extra counter space, great for regular toasting.
Cons: Need to keep an eye on toast - but worth it!
The Bottom Line: If you have stainless appliances in your kitchen, this product is a wonderful asset!
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: When I saw the KitchenAid toaster oven, I immediately liked it because its tubular handle exactly matched the other stainless steel appliances in my kitchen. At first I was a bit put off by the price ($169.99 at Target,) but I checked online and...

Pros: Style/Looks, Crumb Tray
Cons: Toasting quality, no light, timer, no oven "on" setting, durability
The Bottom Line: Works fine for heating up small portions or convenience products, but if you want this combined with good toast, then don't buy this product. I would not recommend this product.

Review: I bought this product for it's looks and the KitchenAid name. I must say, it looks great on my counter, but I was not happy with it from the first time I used it.
The first thing I noticed when I turned it on for the first time was that... |

Pros: Very sturdy, nice looks and an easy to clean crumb tray.
Cons: Takes much too long to toast.
The Bottom Line: Bottom line: Well made, nice looking, bake setting works well, but if you don't have the time to wait 4-5 minutes to toast bread buy another toaster oven.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I've been using this KitchenAid toaster oven for a couple weeks now. Because it is one of the most expensive toaster oven's (if not the most expensive) currently on the market, I expected all aspects of it's functionality to be best in it's class...

Pros: Looks pretty, solid controls
Cons: Toaster quality terrible, inaccurate timer, unsafe oven rack.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: This toaster oven, as others have pointed out, is well designed from an esthetic point of view, but that's where the quality of this product ends. Some of the problems I've encountered,
- it toasts unevenly - toasting takes a long... |

Pros: Works great, attractive, convenient
Cons: Burns food fairly easily until you figure it out
The Bottom Line: Food turns out better than in the microwave, more energy efficient than full sized oven
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: I've had my KA countertop oven for a year now and I love it. I use it at least a couple times a week, sometimes for reheating, other times for cooking lunch or dinner.
My kids are famous for not finishing their food and the countertop oven does... |
