Nice bouncer

We got the Boppy bouncer from Babys R' Us. We searched online before actually going there and this one looked the most attractive. After unpacking it from the box, I see that quite a bit assembly is required - at least compared to the Fisher-Price we had for our son. But don't worry too much about it unless you're really all thumbs. The illustrated guide is mostly adequate. It is harder to take the cover off for cleaning though than our other one, which takes about 3 seconds to remove the cover. But I guess it's usually not an issue unless you really need to wash it a lot.

Once fully assembled, it does look every bit as attractive as the online pictures. It also looks comfortable too although our daughter is very enthusiastic about it. But she isn't about the Fisher Price either so it may just be her. She did warm up to the Boppy after a few days of use - she fell asleep in it for the first time.

The construction feels sturdy and the power of vibration is just about right. It's music quality is superb. Most bouncers I've seen sound a bit electronic, like the old arcade games, but this one has pleasant realistic-sounding music (probably generated by an advanced wave-table circuit).

The big round shape makes it a little harder to move, especially when you only have one free hand.

It uses C battery, which is a bit less common, so don't forget to pick those up along with the unit if you don't have any around.
