Recently i purchased a car Subwoofer and custom box to go under the back seat of my 2006 Dodge quad cab. I wanted just a little thump to add to the infinity system. I already have a Blazer that hits 132 db with 2 Kenwood subs and a ported box, didn't want to go there, it was too hard to breath if i turned it up. So, i thought i would get just one sub, WOW. I cant imagine what 2 of these subs would have pounded out in my Blazer, they are amazing Subwoofers! Also, the cost of these subs is way lower than most other subs, that are no where near the quality! Neadless to say, the little thump i wanted, i could have gotten out of an 8" sub! That's amazing! Also, i didnt have to go and buy some 10,000 watt amplifier to power it, i just bought a small, fit under the seat, 800 watt Kenwood Amplifier. Therefore, overall i think you can save more money if you go with these types of Subwoofers!
