Powerful, quiet and looks good too!

KitchenAid KFPW760 12 Cups Food Processor
Design:
The simple three button design really works well into my design theme in my house. The buttons are large and easy to clean. They are thin film buttons like you will find on my appliances where water or wet hands are around. A downside to these types of buttons is they can be torn if you push them with something other than your finger (a wooden spoon handle or something).
Cleaning was in mind when they designed this thing. After two yeasr of use, I haven't found an area that I can't get clean.
Noise Level
I have always been jaded on the noise output of food processors. My old (1980's vintage) KitchenAid and my current Cuisinart food processor (4 cup) were VERY LOUD!!!! I had just always thought they would be this way. Well, my Cuisinart and old KitchenAid both finally died and I needed a new food processor. Cooks Illustrated recommended this model as their choice in their kitchens so I gave it a try. What a difference.
Power
This thing is powerful. I burned up my old Cuisinart by making oatmeal powerbars. Too thick for the small motor in that (don't remember the number) model. This thing will breeze through everything.
Use
The versatility offered by the different attachments and bowl sizes makes this the ultimate in functionality in my busy kitchen. Drawback on this would be you have to store all of the attachments somewhere. I am glad they provide a plastic attachment box for easy storage but it is "one more thing" to store.
Recommendation: you can't go wrong with this one. From blending soups to making powdered carmelized sugar, it really works well.
