Outstanding machine, one flaw

I bought this to replace a 25-year-old Cuisinart (bought when Cuisinart was its own company). Friends had always commented on how noisy their machines were compared to my Cuisinart so I decided to make quietness, power, and a large feed tube my top criteria, plus a hope for the same durability as my overworked Cuisinart. I mostly make fairly large loaves of bread so the power aspect is especially important.

So far this machine has been outstanding on all those criteria. The extra accessories that came with it (juicer, small bowl/blade, etc) made the price seem very reasonable. I have little doubt that this one will last a long time.

My one complaint is that the dough blade is always extremely difficult (IMPOSSIBLE) to remove afterward. The problem isn't the blade sticking to the spindle because my technique doesn't cause dough to get on the spindle. The problem is that the blade sticks to the center tube of the bowl. It's a tight fit, and it doesn't take much flour/water mixture to get in that space. I don't know if the problem is suction caused by the dough sealing it or the heat of the blade causing the dough to turn into a thin film of glue. I never had this problem with the Cuisinart because the fit wasn't as close. Several times I've had to leave the blade in the machine, and the only people who can get it off are big strong people.

If it wasn't for this problem, I'd give this machine a big 10.
