Advise please....the knobs melt

Pros: looks nice

Cons: make very cheap...the fan spring has been replaced 3 time and still broken

I've read everyone's response on this stove....my issue is the knobs have all melted (uneven heat/temperature) and i don't know if i can replace with metal knobs and if yes, what does anyone recommend? I'm afraid if i replace with plastic again, they will just continue to melt until i have to replace again.
