Product Review

I love my Twin Swift!

by   merlee76 ,   Feb 20, 2008

Pros:  Narrow, pretty light, easy to maneuver

Cons:  Have to put hands under seat to recline it (manually)

The Bottom Line:  great once your children are big enough - they have to be able to sit up and not slide out of the harness.

Overall Rating: 4/5 stars

Author's Review

When I found out I was having twins 3 years ago, I went on a major research binge for the right stroller. Money was a factor, but the biggest things I was looking for:

Size and weight - I had to be able to lift it easily and fit it in the car without going out and buying a tahoe!

Durable

Separately reclining seats that could go all the way back

Needed 5 point harness to help hold them in

It had to be side by side. I have used many front and back style double strollers as a nanny and they were hard to maneuver. PLus one kid always had a more cramped space.

So I narrowed it down to this and a few others. But I liked that this stroller had 2 separate canopies (some just have one big one) - and they seemed pretty big for keeping out the sun. It was the narrowest side by side I found and weighed less than most. It also had 2 separate storage bins under the seats and came in a cute red with silver style.

I chose the red one and received it for my shower. When I first set it up, I thought I had chosen a really bad stroller. I couldn't get the canopies to stay one (they kept popping off when I folded the stroller). Thank goodness I didn't give up. I looked at the picture more and realized I was clipping the canopy on at the wrong point!
