Good, but not the best
Pros:
Well built, mini dvds are nice, easy to use
Cons:
cannot hook up to a computer, poor quality stills
The Bottom Line:
Good if you're not really concerned about connecting to a computer. I recommend the regular dvd-R discs, they are cheaper and will play in any dvd player.

Author's Review
I have this camera. I like it, but there are some problems I've had. It can take dvd RAM discs, the 2-sided, re-usable discs, but I rarely use them. I've found that they don't play in any DVD player that I have, although they do play on my computer. The editing functions are nice, but since the camera can't be connected to the computer to download, I find little need to erase the discs.
The still camera is pretty low quality, and I wouldn't recommend using it as your primary digital camera. The other problem I've encountered is the writing process. Several times, I finished shooting, and would close the viewscreen, only to find later that what I shot was messed up and unviewable. I had apparently shaken the camera too much while it was writing to the disc. It seemed to be extremely sensitive. Once I figured this out, I was more careful not to shake the camera while it was writing.
These things aside, I love this camera, it's good for the price, and I use it all the time. It's simple to use and pretty sturdy. I dropped mine a few times (not a great distance- but enough to make me worry) and it was always fine.
I recommend it if price is a concern, and the lack of PC connection isn't a big deal to you.
