And to think I used to hate Risk!

I have traumatic memories of getting beaten
VERY badly at every game of Risk I played
when I was young.. I wouldn't go near the board
game.
Then, along comes the PC version.. with its
excellent graphics, battle scenes, and endless
strategies. This classic world domination game
has benefitted greatly from the addition of
computer technology. Not only does the game
move faster, but you can practice by yourself
and avoid the embarrassment of losing miserably.
The ultimate Risk game, where you get to pick
your defensive and offensive attack plans, adds
so much to the game that it's nearly an entirely
different game. It's fun (but hard) to play against
the computer, and it can also be played as a multiplayer
game online.
So.. do I still lose almost every game?
Well.. yes. But I'm practicing! And having
lots of fun doing it.
