Pros: Excellent adaptation of the most popular kids' book series
Cons: none
The Bottom Line: Come on! Who doesn't like Harry Potter? I was skeptical at first, but then the movie came along! You'll switch with the flick of a wand!

Review: Hey, everyone. Here comes one of the best movies of all time, based on the best-selling book series by J.K. Rowling!

Pros: good sound, decent job of retelling the story, visual effects are excellent
Cons: impossible to capture the whole story, scenes go by too quickly
The Bottom Line: Get this movie if you are a fan or like the fantasy genre. For the "real" story, read the book. This movie is just extra compared with the book.

Review: "Harry Potter and the Sorcere's Stone" was a great book. It is almost impossible to retell that story in a movie format, but these people got it. Though there are many missing elements, all the necessary things are there. Minor things like Dudley's...

Review: This filmed version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, adapted from the wildly popular book by J.K. Rowling, stunningly brings to life Harry Potter's world of Hogwarts, the school for young witches and wizards.

Pros: Cast; visuals; whimsical and magical tone; faithfulness to the story
Cons: A bit long; special effects (especially the centaur) can look clunky
The Bottom Line: The first film about the boy who lived...the movie magic starts here.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Let's get this out of the way upfront: I love the Harry Potter books. When you fall in love with literature first, especially literature of the wonderful, witty and ultimately deep kind that J.K. Rowling has given the world in the Harry...

Pros: Pretty good movie, good effects, etc...
Cons: Harry Potter didn't do anything except catch a silly little ball in some silly game.
The Bottom Line: Harry Potter didn't do anything great or valiant or wizard like or even interesting, but his friends sure did.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: This movie was alright as most of you already know. Still there was one thing about this movie that seemed a bit odd. Throughout the movie every character was making a big deal about how great a Wizard Harry Potter was suppose to be; however, if you...

Review: My sister dragged me to see this movie, and I didn't want to at all. I had never read any of the books, and didn't know what she was talking about when she called me a "muggle". Against my will, I saw this movie and ended up loving it. I saw it...

Pros: Wonderful sets and a mostly great cast
Cons: Oh, was there a score? Too hurried. 'Harry' and 'Hermione' are underwhelming.
The Bottom Line: Strains to fit too much in to too short a time but aims high rather than low. Potter fans won't be disappointed.
This reviewer recommends this product.
