does well--it will grow on you

I despised this phone for the first two weeks or so, it seemed counter intuitive in many ways...however...after reviewing the manual (how annoying) I figured out a lot of things that very much stream lined my use of the phone and after nearly a year, I really like it.

Good sound quality, reception was so so until I added a cheapie internal antenna booster (it actually worked!).  Also noticed that I wasn't getting calls right when it was actively connected to the network, and not just cell connected.  Once I figured that out my recption increased and frustrations abated.  If I get or send a pic message, I have to manually disconnect (airplane mode) and then reconnect to cell mode only, or it will drop and often not even receive calls.  Outside of that it is phenomenal...

camera is awesome, a lot of neat features for a phone.  Easy to use as MP3, wiht excellent battery life.

proprietary hub (not standard USB) connects to hot sync with an akward dangle that doesn't connect right half the time--again annoying, but if I'd just known that from the start it would have saved a lot of headache--just get a $20 charger/sync cradle and save yourself major headache.

battery life is solid.  blue tooth is very good with range as great as 30-40 feet with my earset (motorola).

I find input with keypad using XT9 feature easiest for most texting, and it has a knock-off "block recognizer" for those of us who know palm graffiti, making the transition from palm to windows os very easy.

Over all it has been a love hate relationsip, but in the end love has prevailed.

coolest thing is the small size.
