Pros: Steady groove tracks with a soulful vibe in each.
Cons: The Cover!
The Bottom Line: Check out the new one by Kanye West entitled Graduation and get ready to rock and get up on the good foot.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: When I heard that Kanye West was coming out with a new album, my intention was to go out and pick it up. I am a fan and I really think his tracks are hot. He has this way of putting them together and adding this soulful element to his music that...

Pros: Probably Kanye's best album as whole. More cohesive than anything he's done yet.
Cons: The best moments here can't measure up to Kanye's previous highs.
The Bottom Line: It is worth your time. Just not as great as Kanye's capable of.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: It s pretty easy to understand why a lot of folks are going to love Kanye West s third release, the synth-happy, sample-heavy Graduation . The concise album is West s most consistent to date, and as a producer, few in the hip-hop community can rival...

Pros: All the tracks will grow on you with time
Cons: Aren't many collaborations
The Bottom Line: Even though the competition is over, we want to make sure that 50 doesn't creep back up, so if you didn't buy this initially, do it now.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: This review was first posted on Ciao by me - XICripZ, just after the release, before we heard the outcome of the week's record sales.
"Graduation" is the most anticipated release by Kanye West. It is the third studio album by the... |

Pros: Musically spectacular and he left out the skits
Cons: Too short. Rapping didn't live up to previous efforts
The Bottom Line: Overall if you like Kanye West it is definitely worth the purchase but I'm not sure this would be a good album to convert new listeners.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Kanye West has finally released his third album. With this album he continues the education theme. He has gone from a College Dropout to a Graduate and it only took him three albums. "Graduation" is nice for the most part and definitely one of the...

Pros: No more skits, great production
Cons: A few sub par songs
The Bottom Line: Kanye's best album yet. 4.5 Stars.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Kanye West. Some people absolutely hate him, and some people love him. Me, I used to be somewhere in between. Sure, he had great beats, and some really great songs (Never Let Me Down, Family Business, etc.), but he was also a really bad lyricist,...

Pros: Production, Homecoming, songs are mostly above average
Cons: Drunk and Hot Girls, weak braggadocio attempts, a little bit irritating voice and flow
The Bottom Line: Worst album from Mr.West discography...but still not that bad thanks to production and few excellent songs.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: OK, so I'm back to writing on Epinions as some of you could have seen on my public profile page. I was here all time to read new hip-hop reviews but now they are very rare so I'll try to express my opinion as often as I can, and that is more often...

Pros: Repeatedly engaging production
Cons: sloppy wordplay; mono-dimensional angst and braggadocio; a slew of pointless guest spots
The Bottom Line: not recommended; West's burgeoning technical incompetence as a rapper make even the best songs chores to listen to
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: During my very first listen to the latest exploits of the unconquerable id of Kanye West, a reactionary surge of irritation overcame me as profound disappointment fired from all of my synapses upon the realization that I had sleepwalked through the...

Pros: Kanye continues to evolve as a producer; strong songwriting still in place; more disciplined format
Cons: The conceptual album feel is missing; Kanye is still learning to be a great MC
The Bottom Line: Kanye West continues to march on to overall greatness with Graduation. 50 who?
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Don t be fooled by what others tell you: The showdown between hip-hop s bad boy (50 Cent) and hip-hop s oddball (Kanye West) is a big deal. Never in history has the gangsta and the conscious side of rap music - personified in two of hip-hop s...

Pros: This album is bananas like a banana smoothie. No bad Weezy simile.
Cons: A song disrespecting one of the Bay Area's finest!
The Bottom Line: Curtis lost. Can I say that even though I ain't actually heard his album?
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: Just to be clear, my trying-too-hard-to-be-clever byline here's a bit of a misnomer. Timbaland's contributions are limited to makin' the drums knock harder on a coupla singles, and Kanye's former best friend forever Jon Brion only contributes to...

Pros: Kanye's continued improvement as a rapper, Fantastic production, No skits and virtually no guest appearances
Cons: Lil Wayne's guest appearance, "Drunk and Hot Girls"
The Bottom Line: Without a doubt, Kanye's finest hour up to this point.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: It might be difficult to believe for some people but at the moment Kanye Omari West (his full name for those who don t know!) is quite possibly the only rapper who can push the boundaries of hip hop but still get the all-important sales figures...
