Amazing Clarity, NOT uncomfortable!

I purchased these initially as a present for someone else- but while testing them out in the store- I realized that I HAD to own a pair.

I had read the reviews posted everywhere about these headphones- and the consensus was that they were a little too bright (the high end was really punchy) and they were uncomfortable.

Bull.

They reproduce sound beautifully. Amazing, really, for a pair of headphones. They have very solid base reproduction and the high end comes out just like it should. If you have ever been to a live show- you know that the symbol crashes and whatnot *are* "bright". That is what they DO. And these headphones reproduce them accurately.

What it *did* do is, sadly, really reveal to me how lossy mp3 players are in terms of sound quality vs. the original CD recordings. If you plug this in to your MP3 Player and you love music- you will notice things that you wouldn't notice with those ear buds you are so fond of.

I've worn my pair while playing video games, for HOURS at a stretch, and they have yet to be uncomfortable.

They are not privacy headphones. Even if you are listening to music at moderate levels- someone sitting next to you (on a plane for instance) or in the same quiet room (like a dorm room or library) will be able to hear your music- and probably think you are ruining your hearing.

These headphones are fantastic.
