Pretty player, Great Sound/Battery Life

The Bottom Line: Get this player! It is everything an mp3 player should be.
Are you looking for an mp3 player but may be tired of hearing about the "ipod"? Look no further--this is the player for you. Creative has always been known for great sound, and they have even had a line of reliable mp3 players, but this new Zen takes quality to another level. The player is VERY light compared to the ipod and is also very attractive. The Zen is definitely an eye-catcher.
I am a huge music freak, so battery life was especially important to me. The battery lasts for just about 30 hours on audio when the settings are set on moderate levels, and just under five hours of videos. Also, don't be fooled by the relatively small capacity (4, 8, 16 Gigs, etc.) because the Zen's memory is expandable via SD cards. Therefore, its memory is virtually unlimited.
Due to the lightweight nature of the player, my initial reaction to the interface was that it felt a little cheap (probably due to experience with ipod--all metal casing). However, I have had no problems with it so far.
I LOVE the Zen! To me, sound quality and battery life is what goes, and Creative has delivered. I couldn't be happier with the Zen.
