Avoid this product

We just purchased this machine and have been very disappointed in it's performance. When washing jeans or towels, the machine throws itself off balance. This causes it to slam loudly and walk around during the entire spin cycle on every load. Upon having a service technician look at the washer, he says that he gets calls like this on this model "all the time". He says it's because the washer is constructed with the tub mounted to the top of the cabinet. Our last machine of the same brand over ten years ago had a tub that was mounted to the base of the cabinet, which gave it more stability. Now the store won't take the machine back, the manufacturer won't do anything but tell us to redistribute the clothes in the tub on a regular basis.
