1. Quiet after prying the front grill off slightly.
2. Supposedly energy efficient
Cons:
1. See above.
2. Timer must be set with every use.
The Bottom Line:
Do not follow directions to install. Expensive compared to its obvious style-mates.

The was the worst a/c I have ever installed! I made the mistake of trying to follow the directions. The instructions are not clear. 1. The pictures of all the tapes are indistinct so you don't know what goes where. 2.Some of the things they tell you to do cant be done. 3. The support bolts do not fit into the window (I have storm windows.) 4. Unprotected coils on back makes me wonder about cleanliness, 5. Loud beep when changing any settings. 6. Now that it is installed, I cannot get the cover off, also following directions.
I'll bet this is made by the same company as Samsung because some of the review comments are the same. I had determined not to buy a Samsung because of the review and was very upset to have seemed to buy one under a different name...Samsung is less expensive!
The DO NOT FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. Just install the a/c the way you usually do.
The only good thing about following the directions was that I saw where rattles would occur if they occur. They probably come from where the side panels slide into the base...they are not padded and flop around...a perfect place for those annoying vibrating sounds.
