General Electric Cafe CDW9380NSS Stainless Steel 24 in. Built-in Dishwasher

I purchased a GE Cafe dishwasher in Oct 2007 and after 3 months I noticed RUST in side the stainless tub on the side where something had been spot welded on the backside. I called both BestBuy and GE Customer Service and was told by BB that I needed to go to GE because the extended warranty didn't cover rust and it was inside a year of purchase. Some nitwit of an engineer at GE decided that rust in a SS DW is normal so I shouldn't worry. More than 5 technicians from both GE and BB have said they've never heard of anything like that not being covered. DO NOT BUY A GE STAINLESS STEEL DISHWASHER!!! The Profile is the same model with a different front so they're going to be a problem too. And don't expect GE to stand behind their product because they just don't care. Their Cafe ranges and microwaves have other issues of their own, just don't make the mistake that I made. Buy something else somewhere else.
