Sound fades out. Poor phone book. No human support.

1. If background noise gets loud (my kids yelling in the background) the RECEIVER volume goes down. That makes no sense. If there is background noise, it LOWERS the volume in my ear. I'm guessing that it's incorrectly applying some automatic gain control meant for SpeakerPhone mode.

2. The phonebook memory is stored separately in each phone. You can transfer that memory between remote and base units. But get this - you have to do it ONE ENTRY AT A TIME. That is utterly ridiculous. At the very least, there should be an option to transfer all of them. And since it's a 3 step process to transfer each one and then you have to repeat it all again to get the numbers off the base unit to the *other* remote units, we simply don't use this feature.

3. Support - I called for support. I got a voicemail Jail list of options "If your phone is not working at all, press 1, if there is static , press 2, etc.", with no "my problem not listed" option. The reason is very simple: you NEVER get a live person, you get a recorded suggestion (or list of 10 or so suggestions in at least one case. Are they #$%@ kidding me? Even the return option is a recorded announcement. Would ANYONE ever trust mailing off a $250 piece of equipment on the advice of a pre-recorded message? What's my recourse if it doesn't come back (in 4 to 6 week!, per the message). Who the heck do I call *then*.
