Never Again Buy Ford Buy Japanese for a Reliable Vehicle

The Bottom Line: Ford will not stand behind their product. Buy a Toyota and have no headaches.
The truck is 6 years old and still looks good. I bought this truck because I could find nothing bad about it. I researched it and even looked on epinions. The spark plug blew out of the head at 56,732 miles. I contacted my local dealer and they stated it was a rare issue. I contacted Ford directly and the customer service rep stated this was a well documented problem. I was told to call back later after the diagnosis was done on my truck. A different rep stated that she would look into it and get back to me. She called the next day and stated it was a rare problem and they weren't going to stand behind their product. I told the local dealer to call before any repairs were made. They called and stated I owed them $415.00 for the repairs that I didn't approve. I've had this truck for 1 year and put on 8000 miles.
I did my own research as well. I found out the the city and county public works departments where I am from had similar problems. I spoke with a mechanic at a different Ford garage and he stated that he knows about them. He even stated that the problem is on the passenger side. I will never buy another Ford product. My next truck will be a Toyota
