An MBA course for a lot less!

For well over 20 years I have used FORBES as a guide to creating wealth and opportunity in investing and business. The format of case studies studying patterns of success has helped me learn to become a more savvy investor. The annual reports rating the mutual funds has been a constant clear and steady guide. Several years ago my Mom wanted to take some money and invest it to help in the future when she needed to retire. I used this to get her into Mutual funds that have consistently given her 20%+ returns over the last ten years. In her early 70s, she is still working but not as much as she used to. The nest egg she has invested in is a constant reminder to me of the excellent "schooling" I've received through the pages of FORBES.

The strength that FORBES has is to constantly evaluate new and emerging trends in a way to make them applicable to investing and new business opportunities. As VP of Marketing,I have taken companies from FORBES contacted them and created successful partnerships.

Forbes is also not afraid to say they messed up as well. In every issue they go back and revisit articles they have written in the past to see how there assessments were. In some cases they fully admit they didn't see a certain factor impacting this business and they missed the boat!

I have always planned to get back to school and get an MBA, but with the travel and family attention it hasn't happened. FORBES has been that education, teaching me from other's mistakes and taking toward new opportunities. I suspect the investment in FORBES has been a better deal!
