A "must-have" for new babies!
Pros:
Bi-directional, cradle design, allows parents to put fussy baby down
Cons:
Runs on batteries, takes up space, squeaks a little as it swings
The Bottom Line:
I would highly recommend this swing. It helped me regain my sanity with a colicky baby.

Author's Review
When we had our son 2 1/2 years ago, we opted for the travel-sized version of this swing, thinking it would be better for tucking away when not in use and would serve the same purpose. Unfortunately, the travel-sized swing only swings back and forth and the seat is more flat, so it doesn't cradle the baby. We barely used it as our son didn't particularly like it. However, when we visited friends who had the full-sized one, he loved it. When our daughter came along 2 years later and had colic, we went out and bought this swing and it has been amazing. We can put her in it while we prepare and eat dinner, when playing with our son or anytime we need a free set of hands. It cradles her securely and the side-to-side motion seems to soothe her. Even when she doesn't fall asleep in it, she seems content and now that she's almost 3 months old, she loves to watch the fish overhead. It does run on 4 D-sized batteries, so that part of it can be expensive, but so far, we've only replaced the batteries once after about 2 months of regular use. This swing was well worth the investment and I would highly recommend it!
