Pros:
grows with baby, easy to clean, fun toy bar, music, and vibrations
Cons:
a bit bulky and heavy and harness doesn't come off
The Bottom Line:
I highly recommend this because it's a great place to put a baby when you need to get things done and it will last for a long time.

Author's Review
After 5 years of no babies in our house when I found out I was pregnant I knew I was going to need a whole bunch of baby things which I had long since gotten rid of. So I began looking around at all sorts of things. Having limited space in my house I wasn't sure that I wanted to go with the baby swing which would only be good for the first few months anyways. Just didn't seem worth it to me. So I really wanted something that would last him a while. In my searches I found this Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker and I thought this is perfect. It is something that's going to last him a long time. So I told my husband I wanted it.
My husband had gotten someone to throw me a surprise baby shower (you would think with this being my third child I would have had one of those by now, but I hadn't) and put this item on my wish list. Unfortunately this was not one of the many great items that I did get at my baby shower. So because at the time the $35 was slightly out of my price range we didn't end up purchasing it ourselves. There were other things we needed to buy so I knew eventually the time would come. Instead we ended up buying a much cheaper vibrating seat. He did enjoy that seat until I fell on it and broke it. My husband thinks I did it on purpose, but really I didn't.
So once that happened we were forced to go out and buy something else. I still so wanted this Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker though and this time I got it. The baby was now 3 months old so this was something I was definitely viewing as being a place he would be a lot. And for a long time to come too. And so far he is.
What it looks like
The Rocker has a bright blue cover with elephants on the back. The legs, or rockers on it rather, are a bright green. There is an orange toy bar that comes off of it with three toys on it. Two elephant toys on the side. One with pieces that spin and the other with rattling balls inside. In the middle is a little red umbrella that when tugged on plays music. It is bigger than most bouncy seats, but I'm sure that's because it's intended to be used as he grows while others are only good for the infant age.
What does it do
You can set this rocker to stay still or to rock. My little boy likes to kick his feet and get it rocking so we keep it in rocking mode. It has a vibrating seat in it as well which seems soothing. It doesn't bounce at all, but my little boy who's now six months old really does enjoy the seat a lot. Now he can really get himself rocking and he gets such a kick out of being able to pull the toy and make it play music. This is something he just recently has begun to be able to do with it.
Cleaning
I haven't had to wash this yet, but the fabric on the seat seems like it would wipe off easily with a wet cloth for quick cleaning. The cover does come off so it can be washed in the washer.
Age Recommendation
This says it's good from infancy to toddler about 40 pounds. It does recline so I do think it would have been great for my son even before he was 3 months old. It definitely looks like it would be big enough to hold a toddler as well. My older two are all too big for it, but my 6 year old looks to be just barely too big. I imagine this will be something we have in our house until our little boy is about 4. Well, unless perhaps mommy falls on this one too. Although, I think it would withstand my fall better than the other bouncy seat we had held up to it.
Safety
The harness this chair has to strap in baby is great. It's not something he'll be able to wiggle out of that's for sure. I guess it can't come off though so I imagine that as a toddler that might become a little annoying having that harness there. But I feel very safe right now keeping him in this seat when I'm trying to get dinner cooked or wash some laundry.
Overall impression
This has met all of my expectations so far. I will have to update this again when my son is a toddler to let you know if he still likes it, but I imagine he will. It seems sturdy so it will last I'm sure. It is a little heavy and bulky, but all of the pros of it far outweigh this as being a con. It is something that I would highly recommend to anyone who's about to have a baby. And it's well worth the $35 price tag even if I wasn't willing to spend it in the beginning.
