Final Destination will most certainly make you think twice!

Our family has a tendency to rent multiple movies at one time and then veg out for a movie-fest night.

Final Destination was my husband's choice to begin with, but I am ever so glad I took his advice and brought it home from BlockBuster!

Final Destination stars Devon Sawa, Kristen Cloke and Ali Larter
in a wonderful movie directed by James Wong in the Horror/Suspense genre.
The movie only lasts for 1:37, but it keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time wondering what to expect next.

The gist of the story is about a group of teenagers who are flying to Paris for a class trip with their french teachers. Before the plane can take off, one of them has a vision of the plane exploding shortly after take off. Spooked by the vision, he flips out and starts screaming and ends up being thrown off of the plane for fighting with other classmates.
The airline decides not to let them back on the plane with the exception of one, so needless to say, when the plane explodes, some of them have cheated death.

This will not do for Death doesn't like to be cheated, and he will come back and finish the job.

To say much more about the plot will give away too much and take away the suspense that builds in the movie.

Suffice it to say that the director has brought us a very twisted movie with some interesting and believable special FX. Final Destination will make you think twice about death and even more than twice about psychic phenomenon.

Given the opportunity, would you try to cheat death if you thought you could?? Sure you would...or at least most of you would any way that you could! Now put that in the hands of teenagers who have decided that enough of their classmates died and what you have is one twisted tale!

Of course if anything is out of the ordinary, nobody believes the messenger, and this rings true in Final Destination too!

After watching this movie, I found myself thinking twice about normal things like using the toilet...one of the scenes deals with a visit from death and he literally drips forth from a toilet. My husband and I both thought that to be a pretty original thought!

Some of the movie will make you laugh, but most of it will make you think, and all of it will make you sit on the edge of your seat hoping that the "good guys" will win!

Grab a bowl of popcorn and watch Final Destination...it'll change your outlook before it's all said and done!

It's a wee bit more violent than I figure younger kids should see, but all in all, it's not as graphic as some of the more popular "horror" movies I've heard of children watching! Teens and adults will love this one!
