Author's Review
I would just like everybody to know that I love each and every final fantasy game ever made. They are all great, and they are the games that define the RPG genre. Final Fantasy 1 and 2 takes the classic 8-bit NES games and turns them into glorious 16-bit for the Game Boy Advance.
In Final Fantasy 1, you take the role of the four warriors of light to save the world from darkness. You can choose from five character classes to create your own warriors of light, classes include Fighter, Thief,Monk, White Mage and Black Mage(my personal fave).
The only thing that really bugs me about Final Fantasy 1 is the combat system. This is only one guys opinion, but I think that the game would have been better off with a turn based battle system. In this one, you have to choose all of your characters moves before the battle commences. I also don't really enjoy the story-line. All you do is run errands for a bunch of people because you have a few crystals and everyone says that your're the supposed warriors of light that appear in this guy named Lukahn's prophecy, and that's that. The four characters don't even interact with each other they nod when they accept a side quest and such.
Hey, when you perform certain tasks, your character's class can change, Black Mage to Black Wizard, Fighter to Knight, and so forth.
It's still a great game, but it's just not perfect.
I'm feeling really tired right now, so I'm gonna write the review for Final Fantasy 2 some other time.
