Product Review

Questionable product

by   jmesserer ,   Nov 8, 2004

Pros:  None.

Cons:  Flimsy "arms" on lap bar. Did not seem safe.

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars

Author's Review

I purchased this carseat through Sears & waited about a week & a half for it (no big deal there). My husband & I opened the box & took the seat out. The "arms" of the bar were quite flimsy, as the whole thing just wiggled so much (this was when it was latched fully even). I immediately took it back to Sears for a refund, as I was not going to trust such a poorly-made carseat to protect our baby!

I'm beginning to question the quality of Evenflo products. My mom bought an Evenflo High Chair (I forgot the name), but I checked the reviews on Epinions.com. The majority of reviews were bad (2 stars), because of a front latch on the tray which kids had a tendency to kick off the tray, and pinched and/or twisted fingers & arms in the connective joints.

I don't think I will be buying any Evenflo products, except for maybe bottles.
