Emerson (CKD9906) Clock Radio

This product seemed to be very promising when it was purchased. I bought it because the brand "Emerson" was well known and had a good reputation. I wanted a CD player that I could play before sleep and wake up to if I wished. I like the size and ease of selection buttons, the clock can be seen from across the room at night. It actually acts as a night light. The sound is good. three or four months after purchasing it the CD player stopped working. It had almost never been used. When I put a CD in, including brand new ones, the word "no" appears in the digital communication window.
