It dies after just 10 minutes or so.

The Bottom Line: My recommendation is "DO NOT BUY IT". It's too expensive for less than 15 minutes of vacumming. There are better products out there.
I just moved into a 2 story home in which the bottom floor is all tile and wood floors and the upstairs is all carpet. I have a Dyson, which I love, but want to keep upstairs for the carpet. I wanted a not so heavy vacuum to use daily downstairs. I went to my local Bed Bath and Beyond and look at what they had available. I liked that the Electrolux Pronto was attractive (loved the red), and that it had a handheld that could be used. I also thought that because it was the most expensive it would be of better quality. "Boy was I wrong!
When I got home I took it out of the box, followed the directions and made sure to charge the battery for 12 hours or more. The first time I tested it I was so excited because it worked great. But my excitement did not last long. The battery slowly died after 10 or 15 minutes of use. I gave it a few more chances over the next couple of weeks thinking maybe the battery just needed more charging. (The manual says it should always be on the charging station when not in use)
Same outcome every time, after 10 minutes it would start to die and the suction would be almost non existing I then did some research online and found out that I was not the only one going thru that same problem. So I returned it and got the Shark VX63 cordless stick vacuum. Haven't tested it out yet since the battery is still charging. With the Shark one if the battery doesn't last more than 10 to 15 minutes I at least have the option to buy another battery pack for it. And I would still be under the price for the Pronto since it's about $25 dollars less. But that will be my next review in a couple of weeks after I finally test it out.
