This dog stops dead with dog hair.

The Bottom Line: If you want dependable, don't buy. It's too risky.
I have my SECOND pronto hanging in the broom closet merrily charging away. That is about all it is capable of. Nobody has mentioned the convenient little whirling brush that pushes debris to be sucked up. The first one operated for about three cleanings of our hardwood floors in family room and kitchen before the brush stopped. My husband removed it (very cheap, inconvenient plastic screw) and removed hair that had wrapped around the ends where the brush attaches. Figured for the ease of use, I could bother with removing the brush and removing hair after each vacuum. Nuisance but I liked everything else about the stick. That didn't work. Brush action died. Returned to store and they replaced it without question. Second one followed same pattern. Then I contacted Electrolux No-Customer service. Their response was: "This warranty does not cover parts of the cleaner that require replacement under normal use, such as disposable dust bags, fans, filters, drive belts, light bulbs, brush roll bristles, impellers and cleaning. Any damages or malfunctions caused by negligence, abuse, or use not in accordance with the Owner s Guide are not covered by this warranty." Excuse me--what IS covered? Having been a dedicated Electrolux cannister user, I felt betrayed!!
