Nothing Else Even Comes Close

You get what you pay for and more! I am a huge skeptic when it comes to claims made by manufacturers,as was the case with Ecoquest.However,after reading all the studies done at KSU by Dr James Marsden regarding elimination of surface bacteria and viruses I had to give it a try. Have experience with Oreck units and the Bio-Naire sold by Sharper Image by the way.
After careful study I realized the difference is Ecoquests RCI cell which is an addition to the Freshair unit originally developed by NASA to prolong the life of plants in space. So If you read carefully the study done at KSU,you will realize the units effectiveness is due to the RCI cell,not ozone!As a matter of fact a new unit is being introduced this month that contains only the RCI cell,no ozone whatsoever.This is to accommodate those with a sensitivity to ozone,( which I find hard to believe,love the ozone myself!)but the fact is they are working to provide the best for the consumer.
I work in custom homes building showers of stone and quite frequently must vacate job site if painters are spraying lacquer.Must say that bringing unit to work with me has been extremely beneficial.It will TOTALLY eliminate all lacquer vapor and odor in a heartbeat!Worked for weeks in an 11,000 sf house that almost every day was being contaminated by spraying of lacquer.I was able to work every day comfortably and free of exposure due to ability of Freshair to destroy ALL airborne particulates! It seems to me that the folks that scream the loudest about it being a bad unit are the competitors that can not produce the same results as they can not have the same NASA technology in their units because Ecoquest is now the sole owner of the technology and the manufacturer.
