Product Review

High dollar Yuppie Rag

by   Tuck883 ,   Jul 24, 2000

Pros:  No metric motorcycles

Cons:  not a true biker magazine anymore

Overall Rating: 2/5 stars

Author's Review

I used to subscribe to "Easyriders" until it became a meca for high dollar Harley-Davidson rip-off bikes. The technical coloms seem to be written by some back yard mechanic, with the exception of the one by Tim Goldbrith (I hope I spelled his name correctly).
American Iron Magazine is better suited for my reading pleasures. If you are looking for a "Bikers' Playboy" magazine then try this. If you want a true biker rag with some hotties try "Outlaw Biker". Personally I read American Iron and Outlaw Biker. "Easyriders" has not been friendly to the biker who has to work on a really tight budget. Almost all the featured bikes are in the $20-40,000 range. Outlaw biker on the other hand has a section devoted to the "thrifty biker" with bikes, nice bikes, under $10,000. I cannot lay blame on "Easyriders" for this, some people just go to where the money is, and right now it is with the "Yuppie Biker."
