I will admit, being female, that I do not own Drakkar Noir myself. Although I do occasionally use Axe, actual cologne is a little too masculine for me personally. However, when my boyfriend breaks out the Drakkar, it is, quite simply, awesome. The first time we met, I told him that he smelled really good, and he's worn it around me since, and guess what!
He still smells really good.
The scent is rich and masculine, but not so overpowering that it gives me a headache. It has no hint of alcohol, which I find some colognes and perfumes do. I've read some reviews claiming that it is too costly for daily use, but the boy says he's found it to be rather inexpensive, so I'll just go with that.
The scent is not only pleasing, it's very memorable. Whenever I smell Drakkar, I know what it is and who it reminds me of. Sometimes, things in my house still smell like it after he's left, and the scent automatically makes me think of him... and the memories are fond ones.
Basically, guys, Drakkar Noir is sensuous and pleasing to the olfactory glands. If you want your wife, girlfriend, random hot chicks, or even Great Aunt Henrietta to think you smell great, then it's a wonderful investment.
