Cooler is back and badder than before !!!
Pros:
Great story telling, music, laughs, and action
Cons:
Rather short.
The Bottom Line:
For DBZ fans, a must. For a beginning viewer, it would be very hard to figure out who is who. However, most DBZ videos are this way.

Author's Review
I am a big DBZ fan thanks to my kids. I have bought only tow DVD's so far, and from my enjoyment of the two, I will be buying more. I own "The Return of Cooler" and "Cooler's Revenge". I actually like the first one better, but both are keepers.
The story :o)
Goku and his crew are on their way to Namek to investigate a large metallic object (The Big Getty Star) that has started to absorb Namek. Piccolo during this sequence gives you the impression that he is very concerned for the safety of his home planet. Goku arrives just in time to save a Namekian from death by the hands of a army of robots that are hearding up the inhabitors of the planet for energy harvesting.
Goku threatens the army to leave, and they will not be harmed. If they don't, he will destroy them. He gets no response except from a shiny metallic creature that Goku seems to recognize. After a few moments he recognizes Cooler. He is in a new shape and form, and has been hoping to run into Goku to get his revenge.
IF YOU DO NOT WANT THE DVD SPOILED, READ NO FURTHER !!!
Goku and Cooler square off. Piccolo, Gohan, and Krillian square off against the robot army. Piccolo and his crew have no success until Piccolo tries a full frontal attack and punches a whole in one of the robots. Gohan and Krillian follow suit. Goku starts off against Cooler, getting nowhere and is forced to power up to Super Sayan. He rips Coolers arm off, and when you think he has him beat, Cooler regenerates. Goku is shocked, but not surprised.
Back to the robot battle, Piccolo is being bombarded by bullets and rockets. While protecting himself the rest of the crew is captured and taken away. Goku continues his fight with Cooler, and Cooler gets him by the throat. Just as Cooler is saying good bye to Goku, Vejita saves Goku. Now Cooler is up against two Super Sayans. Inside the Big Getty Star, Picollo shows up after using a super bomb to destroy the robot army. He asks a mysterious figure what he is doing there. Before an answer is given we cut to The two Sayans fighting Cooler with little effect. Finally they coordinate their attack and defeat him. Or have they? Thousands of Cooler's show up on a cliff and start heading towards the two Super Sayans. They get captured.
Back on the Big Getty star, the crew is being told that they will be chopped up and processed for their energy. There is some good black humor here. Then Goku and Vejita are shown hooked up to all kinds of wiring. Cooler speaks to them and explains that the Sayans will power his ship. Little does he know that the Sayans harness more energy than the Big Getty Star can handle. The Getty Star starts imploding, and it is revealed that Piccolo has been fighting one of the Cooler robots. Just when it looks like Piccolo has given up and is ready to die the robot explodes. The crew in the prison is watching one of their friends (I don't know this characters name) about to be chopped up. The saw falls apart as does the prison cell bars. The crew run to find Goku and Vejita fighting Cooler. Goku yells at them to get out, and starts preparing a super bomb. Everyone gets out just in time and Vejita distracts Cooler long enough to let Goku fire the super bomb. It appears that Goku has killed himself, Vejita, and Cooler with this massive blast. After a few tense seconds, Goku and Vejita are shown falling to the planet. Cooler has been defeated.
Overall, this was a great DVD. I had only one problem. That was Gohan. They made him out to be almost as strong as Piccolo at the beginning of the DVD, but after he is captured, he becomes as wimpy as the other characters. In "Cooler's Revenge", they have him fighting the top villians, but in this one, he is subdued by one robot. It was inconsistent writing. Gohan is supposed to grow up stronger than Goku, so why not have him fighting a Cooler robot as well?
Other than the Gohan issue, I like how this was written. Vejita saving Goku was brilliant, and Cooler actually being a super computer was another great swerve. There were moments when you thought one of the Sayans would be destroyed, and the banter and dialogue made for some good laughs. You see the reluctance by Vejita to admit Goku is the better fighter, but Goku is clearly head and shoulders above Vejita. For DBZ fans, this is a DVD to buy.
