Pros: Easy cleaning, odor free, uses less oil than other fryers.
Cons: Too small for large families, can only cook small portions
The Bottom Line: The DeLonghi Rotating Deep Fryer makes an excellent wedding gift for couples; however, I would not recommend it for families larger than 3.

Review: I purchased the DeLonghi Rotating Deep Fryer F-895 after reading the excellent reviews in magazines and on line and liked the fact that you didn't have to use as much oil as the traditional fryers. I don?t tolerate reheated oil very well so I only...

Pros: uses less oil, easy to strain used oil and to wash the vessel
Cons: Frying potatoes. Frying things with batter.
The Bottom Line: If you really need a fry, get one that can be used with or without the basket and as many other bells and whistles you might need.

Review: The fryer was beautiful to look at, but after owning it for 3 months, I could see its limitations. The pluses were it's capacity, the temperature controls, the draining system. There was also a timer, but it was not really a plus, your egg or stove...

Pros: outside really stays cool while frying
Cons: holds very little food, impossible to keep clean
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: I was very disappointed with this fryer. Any fryer will fry food but how many are easy to clean after cooking? Certainly not this one! Draining the oil is a slow chore. The fryer has nooks and crannies, especially in it's top, that are impossible to...

Pros: Rotating basket for even frying seems to be pretty unique with this product
Cons: The viewing window fogged up and the fryer did not stay cool.
The Bottom Line: I would not recommend it because it is too pricey for what it offers for an occasional fryer user.
This reviewer does not recommend this product.
Review: Other than rotating basket, I am disappointed with other selling points about this product that I read about before purchasing the product. It did not stay cool while cooking seems to me is one of the main selling point for me prior to buying the...

Pros: Less oil used, food doesn't absorb as much oil.
Cons: Smaller cooking capacity, cost of filters.
This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The ease of filter drainage system means that I clean the oil more often and it allows me to use the oil much longer than my previous cooker. It uses far less oil and because of the rotation, food is less greasy. I read comments about the filters...

This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: The fryer has a good design but thats as far as it goes. It is not well built or has a lot of bugs. I only got 1 use out of it. The fryer didnt rotate and didnt heat. Will have to send it back unles there is a reset button . I will never buy another...

Pros: Spatter free, almost odorless frying.
Cons: Minimal instructions. Relatively high filter cost.
The Bottom Line:
Probably the best residential unit on the market. Minimal mess, extremely easy to use. This reviewer recommends this product.
Review: If you find yourself deep frying even occasionally, the DeLonghi D895UX is a good alternative to hot oil on a stovetop. Actually, it's one of the better residential deep fryers. Years ago, I had a Fry Daddy unit, which was basically just a small...
