I returned three other brands before I bought my baby!

My wife and I wanted to upgrade the TV in our bedroom and I convinced her to get an LCD. We looked at many models at the store that looked good and we bought three that we returned quickly once we realized they look terrible at home.
I started to do some research on LCD's and I kept coming across the Dell name. I started to think about all the praises my other family members have given Dell over the years with their computers and I started to look into them. I saw this 17 inch beauty and I thought this might be the one.
As the box arrived I was filled with anticipation to open it and get this baby running. From the first glimps at the open box I knew something was diferent with this set. There was wires galore for every setup you could imagine on earth. All the sets of wires they give you cost over $100 at the store. I did not even need any of them as I hooked it up to my cable from the cable box and she was ready. The set is nicely constructed and the stand is very sturdy and allows you to move the LCD in any direction possible.
I called my wife in after it was all hooked up to do the honors for the first turning on ceremony and it was all over. We both stood there in awe of the this crystal clear picture with this incredible sound coming from the awesome speakers. This is no regular LCD! the picture was sharp as can be and we moed to every position in the room left, righ and below the set and there was not an angle to be found that we could not see the picture.
Bottom line this is a great set and I now know what my family has been raving about all these years. Looks like Dell has another fan.
By the way, it has the one feature my wife needed the most which is a sleep timer so it can shut down on it's own.
