Wow, great shredder!

My boss gave me the task of buying a new shredder for the office, and I settled on this one.

We were using a service to shred our documents, but we were extremely unhappy with the quality of people coming into our office to collect the waste.

This Dahle is a breeze to use, and very compact. It shreds 5 sheets at a time, but I have passed 7 through with no problem. We have had it for two weeks now, used it extensively, and had no problems.

The waste bin holds 8 gallons of shredded paper, we only have to empty this every three days. (we shred a lot of paper...real estate/law office.)

What I really like about this is the auto on/off feature. It stops running when you stop putting paper in, and starts up again when you add paper. GENIUS!

With whatever shredder you buy, make sure you buy oil to maintain your shredder. Simple maintenance will go along way.

They offer a free extended warranty on Dahle shredders, which should tell you something of the quality!
